Prof. Minati Panda

President

NAOP 2021-22

Message from Prof. Minati Panda

I welcome on behalf of the National Academy of Psychology (NAOP), India scholars from across the globe to the 31st annual convention of NAOP and hope for a rich interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary dialogue on psychological concepts, ideas and their movements across borders. NAOP encourages a pedagogy of listening and hopes for a critical and deeper engagement with questions pointing at the cracks in the existing economic, social and cultural spheres. It keeps its disciplinary curiosity and conceptual fluidity alive to understand various forms of domination leading to minoritisation and invisibilisation of several world communities. It wishes for early psychological healing of the victims of COVID pandemic and the war victims in Ukraine, USSR and all other areas experiencing armed conflict in the World. Psychologists around the world must come together as the human race braces for multiple tides of natural as well as man-made disasters. Wish you all a world of hope, peace and good collective memories.
